AI Vendor Selection for law firms.
For a firm choosing a tool and wanting to buy the right one once. An indicative fee of £3,500 plus VAT, fixed in writing before any work starts, with the deliverable set out on one page you keep.
What you get
- A requirements brief written from how your firm works, not from a vendor's feature list.
- A longlist of five to eight vendors and an evaluation framework that tests each claim against your requirements, your duties and your budget.
- A recommendation report you can put in front of the partners, with the reasoning set out.
- A negotiation guidance note covering the contract terms that decide who carries the risk when a tool gets it wrong, where your data goes and how you leave.
Who it suits
Vendor selection suits a firm facing a crowded market of legal software and struggling to tell substance from sales pitch, where the cost of choosing wrong is a year of disruption and a contract that is hard to leave.
How it runs
When you get in touch we reply within one working day and arrange a short call to understand your firm and the question in front of it. There is no charge for that conversation and no obligation to go further.
Before any work starts you receive a written confirmation setting out the scope, the deliverable, the inputs we need from you, the assumptions behind the price and anything excluded. The inputs are deliberately light. We work from short conversations with the people you choose, your policies and your supplier contracts, arranged around your diary, and our delivery does not normally require access to client matter files.
The price agreed in writing before you instruct us is the price you pay, whatever the work turns out to involve. If we do not deliver what that document says we will deliver, you do not pay for it. Travel, where it applies, is charged at cost and agreed in advance.
The fee
£3,500plus VAT, indicative and fixed in writing
Figures are indicative and fixed in writing before work begins. VAT registration has been applied for, so VAT is added to invoices from the date HMRC confirms the number. Adliora is a management consultancy, not a law firm, and its deliverables are governance, operational and commercial assessments rather than legal advice.
Common questions
Do we have to buy something at the end?
No. The recommendation is written for the firm and may be that none of the options is worth buying yet, or that the tool you already pay for does the job once it is set up properly.
Will you run the trial with us?
The framework is built for a short trial with the people who would use the system day to day, and we help you set it up and read the results. The trial itself runs inside your firm.
